In 2000, the previous CEO of Harry Rosen was diagnosed with and died of pancreatic cancer in the span of 5 months. That same year, the organization entered into a partnership with Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and has since raised millions of dollars for cancer research. Since 2014, Harry Rosen has taken the lead as presenting sponsor of the Golf to Conquer Cancer event - Canada’s top grossing single day golf fundraiser for cancer research. This year, 208 golfers were joined by PGA of Ontario professionals in a scramble tournament that raised over $4.7 million since 2014, including the event on June 12, 2017.
