$5 million Donation Announcement at Immunotherapy Summit On November 17th, 2016, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation hosted an immunotherapy summit on the 7th floor atrium of the cancer centre. Our world-leading researchers and clinicians engaged in a panel discussion about this promising new field of cancer treatment. At the end of the event, James D. Nasso, Chairman of Agnico Eagle took to the stage and announced a surprise visionary gift of $5 million to support the immunotherapy program. “Agnico is a true Canadian success story. We are proud of our partnership with The Princess Margaret and know that together great things will be achieved,” says James D. Nasso. Agnico Eagle Agnico’s commitment to The Princess Margaret began with its founder, Mr. Paul Penna, over 20 years ago. We are forever grateful to Mr. Penna. Agnico Eagle’s Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sean Boyd, has been a Foundation Board member since 2013 and was instrumental in helping us to achieve our BILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE. This new gift brings Agnico Eagle’s total giving to The Princess Margaret to over $12 million.
