K.Y. Ho and Family Continue Long-Term Support For Cancer Research Almost two decades ago, Ho, an entrepreneur and businessman, established the K.Y. Ho Chair in Prostate Cancer Research, through a gift of $1 million. That gift continues to support prostate cancer research at The Princess Margaret today. In 2016, the K.Y. Ho and Family Tumour Imaging Innovation Fund was established, through a new gift of $1 million. The fund will help advance molecular imaging through the use of immunofluorescence, allowing researchers at The Princess Margaret to see tumours better and provide more targeted treatment for patients. The Princess Margaret is very appreciative of the Ho family’s long-term support and leadership in cancer research.
